Hi DedZeppelin, I have a few questions:
- Do we need to put a number for the background? (it was on the template).
- Do we need art for the background?
- Can we make multiple submissions?
- I have not played Cairn, would you (or anyone else) be willing to give it a look to see if my submission is way too overpowered or kind of underwhelming?
Thanks!
Kent, this is totally rad! It has excellent flavor. I like how you pick your animal type and then your tag (similar to class in other games). It makes character generation quick and flavorful. With five animal types and 13 tags that makes 65 different character options! That's a lot for a one-page game.
What a fun premise! I gave it a go, solo and it was neat. However, I must agree with Yarant. Trying to draw characters on a map proved difficult for me. If you took out the characters and added more structures, I think it would greatly improve the game. I liked the ley-line mechanic. I ended up using it whenever I had a bunch of character cards in hand. I should also note, that if you play solo, you can just draw the cards and see how the map changes as you play. Alternatively, you can make this a journaling game and simply describe the town.
