To start off: Presentation is amazing. The theming is great, the art is excellent, the music and sounds choice really pulls the game up, and, in concept, I love the idea of first hunting down someone and then fighting for control. However, the gameplay itself is what I feel detracts from this. The hunting and catching here doesn't have too much depth too it, which I suppose is fine as it doesn't feel like the main focus, but I wish it was more than: set the 3 ropes and throw bolas until they get dragged into them.

For the combat section, I really only have one complaint, and it's that the red "counter" ropes, do not feel fair. If you hit them near the end of the timing window, there is a chance that the sound bit will play indicating you hit it, the fist animation will start to swing to hit it back, the rope slows down to make it dramatic, but because it's still moving it hits you and you fail the segment. I wouldn't mind it if it was a one-off thing, but it happens constantly in the later fights, especially as it gets faster and faster. Most of the game's difficulty I feel comes from this volley segment, and it just doesn't seem to work as intended.

I'm critical of this in part because the game presents itself really well. It's just frustrating when what seems to be one of the main gameplay beats doesn't function in the way its intended to. Still amazing that all of this was put together in so little time.
