(Seriously as I've said in the discord the appreciation for these posts is very much 🥰) and Yeah I do suppose writing-wise it would be pretty annoying to be limited by a previous scene. It's understandable why the scene got scrapped.

5-6. For shame! I trusted yoooouuuuu! For Yusuke I'm interested in the shenanigans that would probably ensue because of his eccentricity (depends on the writer I know but I'm still curious as well as excited)

First of all, late welcome to Rainey but welcome nonetheless!

Before I go into gameplay stuff I guess I'll have to address the elephant in the room, that being lost contact with some of the devs. In this case, I'd say kudos to you for respecting their consent on their contributions to the project (You've certainly earned my respect) and uhh yeah just all around good luck to everyone.

Now onto gameplay!

1. The tooltips is kinda cool for those who don't really know what a certain word means
2. The name remembering function is...huh yeah that's pretty neat. Tbh didn't even think about it but yeah would help since I might as well have the memory of a goldfish with how often I forget the name I used for the MC lol
3. Credits sequence 👀
4. Aw poor bugs lol 🤣 (Never was fond of any bugs except for Beetles, Praying Mantis's and Silk Moths)
5. *Gasp* It DID surpass 100k. I've been tricked, I've been backstabbed and I've been quite possibly, bamboozled! *Fake voice of betrayal* (Jokes aside 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 on the word count!)
6.  Slow steps on the sun routes right there, Yusuke's scene 1 scripting is done which is cool
7. With the moon routes, Akira/Ren and Akechi's route are in the testing stage....Soon...Soon 👀
8. Side note, with how much Akechi's moon route is just an embodiment of this, its really hard for me to imagine a good end 😂(I kinda want it to be a surprise in a way lol)
9. Y'know with the World Arcana, It still boggles my mind what kind of personality the MC would have if this route ends up being a thing. The only idea I can think of is since the World Arcana represents completeness perhaps this is some sort of secret route that happens only after all the other routes are completed? Eh Idk lol
10. Anyways I'll end this off with a looking forward to playing when the game updates!

Ok I was right on my prediction, ah so it's Akira/Ren and Akechi (I'm too used to calling him Akechi 😅), nonetheless I look forward to when they're ready to play. (I'm going to end up writing down point gains for each choice on a notepad because I'm like that when I play Visual novels like this 😆)

Ahhh I see, oof that sucks that you got saddled with extra work that you aren't paid for (No worries on taking your time with this VN project, life can be an asshole and can kick you on ALL your sides)

Ok so if everything goes as planned its either December or right after that. Hopefully it does, and oh 👀 2 possibly completed routes? Gonna take a guess and say its one of the moon routes.

Lastly, gonna cross my fingers on reaching 100k words~ *brings out confetti cannon*

Oh and there's a discord server now, neat! I do have a discord account although I'm only on one server RIP (A server for a manga I'm keeping up with although its monthly so not really much activity going on)

Ah it seems this month has been slow for you as well. No worries though! Eventually the dry period shall be quelled by rain (I think this analogy worked better in my head lol) and besides as If I'll let a slow month stop me from writing a decently sized wall of text on this!

*Ahem* 

1. Alright so the Custom Screen are done and implemented cool 👍

2. Ok so in general with the Sun routes it's the slower ones compared to the Moon routes, makes sense since the moon routes were the ones implemented in here earlier

3. Moon is where the last stretch stuff is at I'll go through this in order starting with Akira/Ren where it's around scene 11 and polishing older scenes and I didn't mention this before (Back in July's devlog I think?) but seriously this route really is the fluff route with the writing done for Good end 1 and Good end 2 lol.

4. Next is Akechi and scene 15 is scripted in cool and oh...Bad end 1 and Bad end 2 is scripted in as well...mmmmmmmmm (Note to self: When you see MC again hand them your Survival tactics book)

5. I don't actually have much to say about Ryuji or Ann but I didn't say anything about Yusuke last time and yeah his route will certainly be "interesting"

PS. Alrighty then! Cya next month 👌

1. Ah I see if the ambient noise is a bother for others then yeah makes sense to be able to lower its volume. And yessssss the all out attacks are very stylish! Personal favorite one is Haru as I like how she just pulled out a chair, table and a cup of tea out of thin air.

2. Oh so the color of the "heart" depends on the route? Ok I was off the mark there on my guess but regardless its still a cool detail.(Ah the amount of "heartbreaks" in Akechi's routes will be abundant lol)

3. Yeah I personally don't know a single thing about design (so haha take my thoughts on it with a grain of salt) but really I do genuinely think the gallery looks alright and to be honest I feel the most important thing is that it was enjoyable to work on (as you put it its your personal project so its good to have fun with it!) Oh I was correct about the 3rd arcana then hmmmm Ok then I'll continue to monthly watch (and comment) this vn's progress in interest.

4.  Ok gotcha then those 2 routes will be interesting to see as well as the difference in dynamics with mc depending on arcana.

5. 🚶‍♀️Don't mind me just getting confetti when that happens.

...Well here I am to comment again😅  *ahem*

1. First thing to mention is the UI/UX updates hmm I do really like how the Arcana selection looks (those tarot cards look neat) and so does the Route selection (I like that its from the All out attacks and it reminds me of the route selection in other Visual novels I played pretty cool). The name input also looks nicer. As for the Ambient noise volume I never felt bothered by the noise but it is nice to be able to lower its volume.
2. The highlight in this devlog by far is the Status Icon! It looks really cool and huh the "heart" can break (I assume it happens when you receive a game over). Looking at the first pic the "heart" has a different color hmm does the color change depending on affection points? 🤔If so its neat.
3. Next thing to talk about would be the gallery page and yeah it looks good (I'm also curious about the earth symbol, I'll take a shot in the dark and say its possibly a 3rd Arcana we can play as (The World Arcana). As for the custom pages hmm yknow for someone that isn't an artist or a UI/UX designer it doesn't look half bad. (and hey if its fun to make its cool😄)
4. Something I didn't mention before would be about Ann and if she's a route well Morgana is gonna be Jelly lol
5. Last thing to look at would be the statistics and its 80k wo.....👀 Holy shit it's double last times numbers. At this rate it might actually reach 100k words.

PS. Ah don't worry about the minimum updates and good luck Job hunting (also Best wishes to you and everyone working on this VN!)

Oh hey July devlog is here😃! Ok then gotta order down  my thoughts.

1. The additions of being able to add pictures is interesting 🤔I wonder what that will bring to the table.
2. Personally about the choice menu UI I don't mind either the old or new one but I do find the newer fits in better with the style (as this Visual novel is trying to emulate the style of the game) and hey it looks really cool.
3. The conversation cut-ins....oh boy I love this addition (Its also a cool way to highlight certain moments in the story)
4. So I just realized I am a giant dum-dum because I completely missed the status menu when I played and I only now just realized that 😅. Ok so after going back to check the status menu I do like the affection points addition because it is quite hard to tell if you are making any progress when just looking at the star symbols. Also Akira/Ren status menu symbols are hearts when they were stars before (Does that indicate something?) and also Akechi's status menu face has a different expression as well 🤔
5. Another to mention is the status menu descriptions hinting at the storylines in the future heheheh (I think I know how the angst in Akira/Ren's moon route is gonna happen~) and in Akechi's moon route we get to meet Sae pretty neat.

Hahaha I kinda get it with the angst thing. Its like eating spicy food (ones filled with peppercorn, and chilli). It hurts but its also reaally good when prepared a certain way. (or maybe I'm just a masochist lol) And yes I did play through all the routes (I am somewhat of a completionist) 

Alright time to don my anime glasses *ahem* 

In general I found this otome to be pretty entertaining despite it being only the alpha. Like many others before me have said already its very much so appreciated for the personality changes between the sun and moon arcana as I find it interesting to see how the dynamic shifts between the characters and the mc depending on which arcana is chosen. (And they so far feel all in character so mad probs to you) Oh yeah another appreciated aspect is having the option to choose whether to use Akira or Ren since different people prefer either one over the other (personally like Ren Amamiya because my mind immediately reads it as Ren Mamamiya and I can't help but chuckle)

Now to get into the specific routes themselves from the order I played them (I'll prolly write more when this gets updated):

1. Akira/Ren (Moon route): This route generally gives off a pretty homey feel. Its very chill and I like that about it. (Its prolly also good for MC) I can already tell this route is going to be mostly adorable fluff. (I really don't have much else to say for this route even though I liked it lol but if this route has a bad end its gonna huuuuurt)
2. Akechi (Moon route): Now to balance the scale from the adorableness of Moon Akira/Ren route we have THIS route oooo boy the warning was well warranted. Nothing like being held at gunpoint when all you wanted was to get on with your day😐.(Then again Mc might have jinxed it by lamenting their boredom) Anyways in the whole *ahem* interrogation sequence it seems like the best way to survive would be to ADAPT, IMPROVISE, OVERCOME and I'm guessing that's gonna be a consistent thing in this route. (I managed to go through this route unharmed the first time so....yay me???) Ooof well I definitely appreciate Moon Akira/Ren after this route.
3. Ryuji (Moon route): Ryuji Ryuji Ryuji oh you wholesome dumb boy. Gotta say the knife threw me for a loop but I can see him pulling that kinda stuff. And lol Akira/Ren just showing up like "Am I interupting something?" was great.
4. Akira/Ren (Sun route): Oh this route starts with a letter? Cool cool its different from the other routes. So I really like the little details in this route for example the little doodles on the side of letter like the rollercoaster when there is a section about MC having a rollercoaster of a life and later the city when there is a section about it. I don't know if the choices of paper and handwriting affects anything but even if its mostly just for flavor I like the addition of choices as it adds a personal touch to the letters.
5. Akechi (Sun route): This route lol "Detective Princess Ecchi" Hahaha and his reaction it's great. (But yknow....Princess is fitting😂) Ok so first meeting by helping with fangirls cool cool. Ah I see MC keeps up with current celebrity news as much as I do which is to say barely to never. Lol the realization at the end with the "oh...huh....yeah I probably should start watching tv every now and then" was perfect. ......Akechi is gonna get most of the bad ends isn't he?

So in conclusion I liked it and I look forward to updates (particularly the Moon Ryuji route and Sun Akechi route those were fun) but I also want to mention to be sure to not overload yourself on this and to balance like the scales in the Justice Arcana.
