If your microphone is being detected but captions are not appearing, please check these things first:

• Make sure the selected recognition language matches the language you're speaking

• Try speaking a little louder / closer to the microphone 🎤

• If possible, test with an external microphone instead of a built-in laptop mic

You can also check if the mic level bar is moving when you speak —

At the moment, PixelTalk uses your system’s default microphone device.

Please try changing your default input microphone in your Windows sound settings and restart the app ✨

We also plan to add microphone selection directly inside the software in a future update!
