I've enjoyed this. The artwork is basic but it's not a problem for me.
It's kinda funny that you can take canned food without a knife, and a rifle without bullets, sort like a gotcha moment for not paying attention, although it just makes you restart the run, someone might as well quit, not sure how I feel about that.
I like the encyclopedia idea, that you need an item to explain other items, and it's also cool that it's not just a dead weight in your inventory and also does something useful.
If you could add something that will make it worth replaying multiple times, like new character items or encounters it'll be a worthy game!
