All in all, the thing that holds this game together is a good idea; the feeling that the game was made not out of obligation or profiteering, but rather, out of love; and the fact it was made in a game jam over a brief period of time. It's got some sloppiness in the visuals that you can tell came from cutting a few corners. It has definitely used a rocketship game trope I've seen a few times before with limited innovation on that idea. However, it's nailed that gameplay style, making a genuinely enjoyable experience that, while it could be fleshed out better with more time, for a game jam, shows a good understanding of how to put together the elements that make a game a good experience for the user and a fun thing to engage with. Overall, the difficulty certainly could use some tweaking, as the game is overall very difficult, but it was still a good time.
