Cavalry is now spelt correctly in version Xmas25.01 

Nice long play this time round, you battled to the end. You spotted a bug, I can’t spell cavalry as in Stop The Cavalry. Luckily you spotted it, stop the carvery! Good advice for the  New Years diet 😂

Brilliant! Thanks for playing GPC, you did well considering you're streaming/commentating at the same time. Most of the sprites are taken from the arcade golden age, the 'brain' sprites are from Robotron and the spiders from Centipede. Nexions is one of the games on the Next Annual's cover SD.

Just in time for Christmas, loving the Next enhanced version with the tracker music and video.

Great game Sanchez Crew, love the keyboard+mouse control system and the game play is very addictive. I've noticed a couple of issues on my KS2 Next v2.09 playing the version included with the Steam distribution:

1. When you defeat the Boss, the screen scrolls to show the exit. However the character is off screen and I miss being able to collect the gold. Maybe just show an arrow pointing the way without the scroll.

2. When you die, the game does not return to the title screen. Instead it shows the game HUD on a black background and you have to reset the Next.

3. It would be great to be able to restart the game from the level you last played when restarting the game.

On the Steam Deck, I couldn't use the track pad or move the crosshairs at all. It would be great if you could support the twin sticks, it would play like Robotron then.

I downloaded the game from Steam, not sure which version,  but the same thing happens to me playing the included ZXNext version (I die, the screen is black but no keyboard response, I have to reset)

Yeah I've known Rich for years now, we tend to meet up for Retro events these days, such as RMC / Arcade Archive last week. I'd love to have a beer with you too, maybe I will pop over to Germany again for a few beers!

Excellent game

Currently on level 4, I like how the new enemies and mechanics are telescoped in with each level.

Absolute cracker of a game, great control system too (aswd+Mouse). The music and graphics are top notch, the attention to detail in the menus. I reckon this will be a Crash Smash, easy!

Sorry about that, the game requires BASIC v2.08 and the current Next emulator is at v2.06. Hopefully the emulator will be updated to support BASIC 2.08
