So, for my game, I went less for the theme in my mechanics, but rather based the track themes off of real, historical, ancient civilizations.

I had a great time working on this project over the past week or so. That said, there are definitely mechanics that didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped, along with several ideas I didn’t have time to implement that I think would meaningfully improve the game.
I plan to continue developing this project after the jam ends, with the goal of eventually releasing it on Steam — so keep an eye out for that.
