A couple of minor things I have noticed as well, though i am not sure if they are bugs or just things done to reduce workload:
1. You can bank your struggles between escapes and even predators. Eight inputs either direction will trigger an escape attempt. So if you struggle left 7 times then right 8 and get eaten again after the escape, regardless of if it was the same pred or not you can just input left once to trigger the escape. This can be carried between rooms as well.

2. I noticed you only ever have one instance of the smaller preds loaded on the map, tried coralling 3 of them into the beginning area but discovered that finding the second butt focused pred despwaned the first.

Love the Demo! some bugs i noticed while playing;
1. you can actually jump through Bayla during the ladder sequence, and make yourself immune to that scene until you close the demo.

2. A visual glitch can sometimes occur when doing the escape minigame where an input will linger on screen. was not able to recreate it with consistency but i know it has something to do with holding a direction down.

Otherwise this is looking to be very promising! Although i prefer the meter based escape from the prototype for the bosses I am eager to see what more comes from this as a whole. Keep up the good work!

I feel like in comparison to the previous update, this one has gone from undertuned to overtuned. At least for the mobile version (havent tested yet for desktop) the eels dash doesnt work. And the steady scaling of the sharks means you are never going to actually grow large enough to eat one unless it loops back to smallest at some point. Not that I have survived long enough to find out.
