It's a sandbox colony sim inspired by rimworld. The controls are a bit stupid I realize now after some people have pointed out. You're supposed to cut down trees and make traps to help u out with rabbits and can craft saplings from apples via a crafting table.
To destroy trees you need to select colonists first, then SHIFT select trees then SHIFT right click a tree (yes i shouldve added a tutorial or made it simpler but i ran out of time)
You can also mine stuff by selecting tiles to mine and right click -> Destroy, and then set a lil guy to "react to" Demolition, those 2 systems for demolition shouldve been unified but again i ran out of time
And to build you set a blueprint and set a lil guy to "react to" Construction
You can also attack rabbit like you would a tree so you only really need traps after a few waves if you can outmaneuver them
This game is super unique, especially visually. The song is interesting, but can get a bit repetitive after a while. For some reason the aesthetic reminds me of Earthbound. Also I think I accidentally entered a boss rush mode on my 2nd playthrough and was a bit confused why they kept respawning lol. Really fun game tho :D
(also just read it was made in Scratch, this is 10x more impressive now lol)
Edit: just realised I skipped to the last boss on my 1st run oops lol
This game seems promising, but I have some issues with it
The movement and looking around aren't as responsive as in ultrakill for example (possibly because my machine can't run it that well idk)
Also I wish the healing system was a bit nicer, having to go touch a static ball is difficult to do in a combat scenario and it doesn't really make much sense (why they are decomposing into orbs i mean)
The terminal is nice, but I feel you could convey lore in a less reading-heavy manner, letting the player explore the world more instead of just reading about it
Also the visuals are a bit bland, kinda seems like ultrakill but in a mine
I hope this hasn't been too hurtful and hopefully you can consider what I've brought up and make your game the best it can be! Good luck
I feel that if this game had the steam boost thing from the show, the gameplay would be far more fun to master.
I liked the art style, even tho the player didn't really fit in. That kind of gave it more charm honestly.
Also I appreciate the polish of the grappling hooks having physics and the rope being animated and not just a straight line and also the sound effect when it hits a surface.
Usually I don't like endless arcade games but this is an exception and especially impressive for being made in 4 days, nice job. :D
