A project is considered commercial if you plan to make money from it, is so you must pay the suggested price.
You are more than welcome to use the assets. If you release the game anywhere (free or paid), I would love to get a link to see it :)

You are absolutely right. I think I was plannig to split the asset pack in two, one for the forest, and one for the house, but never got to it. I've added the house back in to the zip. Thank you for the attention :)

Hi there. I see that you've attached the thumbnail for another asset pack (I've replied on your comment on that one as well).
This particular asset pack only have the assets that you can see in the promotional picture, and is therefor only optimized for interior buildings :)

Hi there.
Yes, this asset pack has both the interior and exterior of the house in the thumbnail. The house is modular so you can create other shapes and sizes for it as well :)

I'm currently not planning to expand this asset pack, but I've noted the request if I expand it later.

Thank you so much for linking! It looks great!

Lovely to hear! And thank you for the nice words :)

The canvas size is 500x500, in order to crop all tiles evenly, making them more easily implimented, but the tiles themself are smaller than the canvas. The grid you need to impliment them needs to be 390 x 115 :)

Hey, thanks a lot!

I don’t provide a generator with the pack at the moment. That said, the NPCs are exported in a way that makes them easy to layer and mix manually, so you can already create a lot of variations that way.

If you’re working with code, it should also be fairly straightforward to build a simple generator that swaps the different components automatically — that part’s just outside my scope.

Hope that helps, and happy developing!

Not at the moment, but I've noted that it's been requested :)

The characters are only one direction, the one you see.
I do however have a large NPC pack, whith animated characters in 8 directions: https://penzilla.itch.io/giant-npc-pack

Hi there! Thank you so much for the compliments on my work :)
In the download and install instruction, a visual guide is included for the animation frames, which applies to all of the sheets. I'll add it here to this comment as well. Let me know if you have any further questions, I'm more than happy to help!

Thank you so much for letting me know, I really appreciate it.
Just a quick clarification, though: using my assets (including the preview images here on the page) as prompts for AI generation isn’t allowed under my licence, even for personal inspiration. I know this isn’t always obvious, so no worries — but it does fall under the “no AI use” rule for my artwork.

I totally understand you were just experimenting, but please avoid using my graphics in that way going forward.
And again, thank you for being upfront about it — that means a lot.

I'm not an expert in Godot unfortunately, but from what I know I assume so.

Hi there. I myself use Unity as my primary engine, but I know that a lot of people using my assets use Godot as well. I don't see why there would be any issue implementing anything in this pack (or any of my other asset packs) with Godot :)

Hi there, thank you for the kind words about my work :)
Just to be sure we are talking about the same thing;  the characters in this asset pack all have hands/arms and legs. Are you perhaps referring to this pack?: https://penzilla.itch.io/giant-npc-pack
I'm not planning to expand any of the packs in the near future, but I'll note your request for if I take up a future expansion for the assets.

I use Arco for my headlines etc. and Itim for the info text :)

Unity or Godot when it comes to game engines, but any software with a grid system will work :)

You can, but you must credit me for the assets in the project, and if the project is commercial you must purchase the asset pack at the suggested price.

Hi there, thank you so much for the compliments on my assets, and for sharing the game!

I love seeing my assets in use :)

As long as the project is not commercial, yes. For a commercial project you must purchase the assets at the suggested price.
All of the details is also in the licence attached with the assets.

Hi there, thank you for asking. You are free to use the assets for projects without purchasing the pack, as long as the the project is not commercial, so yes.
Please send me a link to the project once it's up, I would love to see it!

Hi there, thank you for the feedback! I'll make a note that a cave version has been asked for :)

Hi there. You are free to use the assets for private projects. All of the info regarding usage is also in the licence attached in the pack.

Hi there. You are welcome to contact me on Discord or mail, links to both are on my store page

Sounds wonderful :)
Feel free to send me a link for it once it's done, I love seeing finished projects using my assets.

Couldn't have said it better, thank you for the reply Haze 👍

The purple outline gives the assets a bit of a softer look, and is just an aesthetic choice.
If you are referring to the food and drink icon pack, this is simply another pack which have another aesthetic. I've moved more towards the softer look as I personally like it better in some cases, and because other people seems to as well.

This asset pack does not include clothes. Have a look at the expanded pack (https://penzilla.itch.io/protagonist-character-expanded), you might find what you need there.

Hi there. As long as you are not using the assets commercially, you are free to do so. All of the details are also in the licence document.
I'm unfortunately not able to help you in regards of coding, but there are so many resources in that regards online, that I'm sure you'll be able to find what you need elsewhere.
Good luck with the project :)

The icons themselves dosen't have a white outline, that is just in the sample photo to make the icons stand out from the background :)

Yes, if you are using the assets for commercial use, you must also pay the suggested price. After that you are good to go. All the details are in the licence as well :)

Let me know if there is anything I can clear up.
In short, if you use the assets commercially you must pay the suggested price for the assets, and you must credit me . There are not much more to it.

Not at the moment, but It's on my idea list for later. I've noted that you've asked for it, the more people that do, the more I'll prioritize specific expansions :)

Hi there.
Thank you for reaching out. You are welcome to use the character in your project. If the project is commercial you must pay the suggested price for the assets, as well as credit me. You can also see all the info in the licence for the assets.

I'm not sure what the issue is. It most likely is something about the grid; when I look at the files on my end, they overlap as they should. I've never had this issue come up before.

Some things that could be the issue:
- Sorting for isometric/2D is off
- Different import settings between the two sprites If PPU/pivot/mesh type differ
- Grid / cell size mismatch (the grid should be true isometric, not 1:2)

The technically are "stacked". Can you perhaps attach an image or the like for me to have a better view of the issue?

Hi! I mostly just use the build in packs, hard round brushes etc. I usually use procreate for outlines, and photoshop for coloring and setting up documents.

Hi there.
Could you give me a bit more infomation on the issue? If you are refering to all of the smaller assets, these are made to be free placed, so they don't follow the same grid as the tiles, so that they can be used in multiple placements depending on the project.

Hi ther!
I use a combination of procreate and photoshop.
