Well, I was playing full screen, and the cursor simply stayed as standard arrow icon. It was small and low contrast enough with the background that I found myself losing track of it quite a lot, so much that I had to pause to reacquire it, which invariably led to missing a few of the word bubbles. I frequently found that I'd moved the mouse off the screen, and so reactively jerked the cursor back and forth, which made it even harder to find the cursor again. I could probably have made it work if I'd kept trying, but it became more frustrating than fun, and that was enough to make me quit. I was far more interested in the actual ideas and logic than the bullet-game, so that was disappointing.

Brilliant concept, and both smartly and beautifully executed with nuance and wit. The thing is, I gave up after the 15th try with that bullet phase thing in the second Debate phase. I'd really like to be able to finish it, but I played this game for logic and story, and I was really put off by having to struggle through unnecessary "bullet-time" interruptions with a cursor I can't even see. You've done wonderful work, but if I wanted to play Burrito Bison, that's what I would have done.
Wow, what a terrific game!! I had so much fun- deductive games are so rare, and games in which everything is so logical and makes so much sense. I'm the kind of guy who loves a good "cozy" mystery where the clues present themselves and you can draw logical conclusions based on what is presented. This games does this so well! Further, the artwork is beautiful and based on period-correct history. You obviously did your homework, or must be a good historian, or both, lol. Finally, the story is good-natured and compelling. The conclusion made me smile and chuckle.
Keep up the great work! I really look forward to your next game!!
[What follows is my original comment, which I'm leaving intact, in case anyone else encounters anything like I did]: It was fun until the hammocks- now I can't do anything. The cream/robe hammock says to refer to my diary, but there's nothing there. I've clicked everything twice over again, but there does not seem to be a way to advance. What am I doing wrong?
