I expected something wayyy different, which unfortunately affected how I viewed the game but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
The atmosphere is great. You also have a very personalised visual art style which I LOVE. I can't say much on the smut, it wasn't really my thing but I found it interesting nonetheless and I thought the dynamic between the two characters was attractive and favoured the overall vibe of the game, the primal play elements especially. I was reading for the plot unironically, so to see such interesting lore be nothing but a backdrop disappointed me. Same with the length of the game being so short. I can see why that is, though, given just how polished everything seems to be.
All in all, you are skilled and I love how each of your games oozes with so much personality. Plz never stop creating :]

rollercoaster of emotions all the way through im still distraught im not bothering with punctuation or proper grammar or anything fuckyou fuck you fuck you oh my god
genuinely devastating. took total advantage of all my vulnerabilities. i do also really appreciate the lore and worldbuilding it's so good u could've easily copped out and just had a vague open concept for the world but you didn't and i love that so much
there's so much personality and depth in every part of this game i hate u for making it and i especially hate u for finishing it and releasing it and everything oh my god. 100 hours in the misery death pit for u
i love this so much thank you
Absolutely phenomenal game. Every ounce of it is artistic, and very well thought out. The medical system is extremely in depth and with each run you find yourself discovering completely new things in terms of just how brutally this game can fuck you sideways.
This game is oozing with personality down to the story, the visuals, and the sounds. GOD. THE SOUNDS. This is the first non-horror game I've played (well, technically non-horror) that has made me feel genuine dread, let alone pity for the poor little alien meat puppet that I'm forcing into death pits. The first time I heard the music that sets in whenever you're critically injured, I felt so much anxiety and panic. I felt like *I* was going to die.
Also, the poor little wheezes and whines your character makes when injured. Gold star. Genuinely should win an award just for that alone. I can't stress enough how good the sound design is.
Ending is a little difficult, but overall the game is extremely well made and fun especially for a demo. The music was honestly amazing and at the boss battle I took a few seconds to actually do something because I was jamming out so hard lol.
Monster designs are extremely charming, I enjoyed the tidbits of lore we got. This game has a crap ton of potential and I'm extremely excited to see where it's headed.
Very fun! The art style is very cute and made the experience better overall.
Navigating through the map was a bit tricky. There were plenty of clipping issues and misdirection due to the placement of trees, and it took me a few seconds to realize where I needed to go and that I needed to dash through the bushes. The latter should have a simple fix, however, by editing the dialogue options to say something like "Use your Flame Dash to dash through the bushes!"
Another issue I encountered was having to wait for the monsters to come to me in some areas because of the trees, so I'd have to sit a distance away and wait for them to come - or get close to them and risk having them land a free hit on me. It was also hard to see due to the many trees and often times I'd be getting hit by a Sadkarp or Zapbird and would have literally no idea because their sprite would be obscured by the trees.
Speaking of trees, I found constant difficulty in getting the "Hide in a tree" command to work. It's irritatingly tricky for something so simple, but overall not really game-breaking; kind of just annoying.
As everyone else mentioned, the command reactions need to be fixed. A few times when the trainer gave Bompurr a command, I'd be told that I did it wrong before I even saw the text pop up :(
This game is simple and enjoyable, and doesn't outlast it's welcome. I can appreciate the time that went into this game and I think it's super cute for a quick Game Jam submission. Hopefully in the future you'll take these critiques and suggestions and implement them into future games or future updates! You have some real creative potential! :D
