Massive potential here, guys, good job.
The gameplay being simple is not a problem, unfortunately it ended up just being too easy...
I only died once on Day 2 and have no idea why, but didn't need to understand it or change how I was playing in order to beat it and beat the other 2 Days too, just kept going as I was before and it worked out, as I didn't even knew what was the mistake when I died.
See: there is not a lot of room for taking decisions, so the player just ends up learning to pick up the same "algorythm" and repeating it over and over again without any variation, and as long as you don't make any big mistake, like skipping past an anomaly twice (which is not likely at all because they are not very subtle) it's mostly a straightforward, easy way to victory.
Maybe if it was a very long Day supposed to be an endurance challenge, where you have to fight the brain numbing of repetition with a very short time to react, it could be more challenging and stressful? If you can make it less automatic, that is... specially because you can only cycle all the way back to the last screen in a single direction, that is interesting.
The only thing that the player has to plan in advance and keep it on the back of their head all the time is the Geiger counter building up, but since the flash cooldown is too short, you end up just reacting instantly to it and moving on, just like the other anomalies, unfortunately.
I even risked letting it build up for one or two cycles, but it's simply not worth it... just easier to flash it and wait it recharge in the next screens.
The timing is also not very clear, like, how many time can I let an anomaly
be before it's game over? Are they spawning everywhere all the time or does the game just roll the dice when I cycle the screen?
I just know I've seen some spawn after the screen was already loaded, so I have no idea, just went by as fast as I can, anyways, and it never failed.
