Not even savescumming. I'm not sure if I got really lucky but I feel like spamming the most expensive option in the casino will always be a net positive after some tim.

Honestly I just held skip and kept clicking the highest option. It does take a few minutes but I think it's overall a net positive (unless I missed an update or something.)

Like on the one hand I want to feel bad for leaving him be... but on the other one he totally deserved it

I think that Torgar is still in the game, you just have to make him grow a bit before the container on his back breaks after a few fights.

Using Love Potions also helps in getting better opinion from them faster

Yeah, you just have to beat his first phase and loose to his second phase
