I'm not sure why the fullscreen isn't working for you, it seemed to be working fine for me.  As for moving after the initial dialogue, you need to click on the wooden sign. After that, you should see an enlarged version of the sign pop up. Click outside of the sign to exit, and then you should be able to move forward. Thanks for playing!

Cool! I really loved the aesthetics and concept of the game. Really impressive for only 8 hours of work — I would love to see this expanded upon!
