huh, maybe it got confused due to my sexual orientation choice— i went for mostly men but sometimes women. so shay must have been using male pronouns at first but then the game got confused and swapped it for female? i can't really think of a different reason. especially since a bit later on it was back to he/him like nothing happened. must just be a bug.
im so hooked on this storyline. like i truly love how our protag can be just as snarky and levelheaded as roman, especially compared to the often meek sounding protags ive seen in other stories. nothing wrong with that necessarily but the bitchy back and forth banter of two grumpy people is something i probably find way too much joy in, so thank you.
seriously looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

still, i write this as the highest compliment — it is rare for one of these stories to have such fleshed out and intriguing "side" characters. im fairly early into the story but im truly loving it so far, thank you
