Thanks for the heads up - had to wait until the end of the judging period, but I've implemented a fix. Just tweaked some export settings. I believe this was purely a firefox issue.

Cool game, the camera was kind of strange, I liked the effect of seeing through roofs, but it got kind of jarring in some spots, wish we could have just had camera control.

Solid work!

Thank you so much! Fun fact, it's actually not the built-in vehicle nodes! The car is a RigidBody3D with a custom raycast setup: four suspension rays (one per corner) applying spring + damper forces, with drive, steering, and grip all applied as forces at the contact points. Grip is basically "cancel a slice of the sideways velocity every physics tick," which is where the planted arcade feel comes from — I found it way more tunable than VehicleBody3D. All the handling numbers live in one stats resource, which is also how the upgrades work: parts just modify a runtime copy of the stats.

And totally fair on upgrade prices.I flattened everything to single-shot buys for the jam, but I should have tuned the costs down too. If I take this further after judging (a Steam-shaped version is tempting...), that's first on the list.

The police scanner is definitely a must-have lol. Thank you so much for checking out my game!

That would be really nice! Unfortunately I felt like getting the driving right and focusing on the AI was more important and I definitely crunched as much as I could in just 7 days!

If I continue developing this, interactive environment is 1000% on the list! Thanks for checking it out :)

Police awareness was one of the things that I spent the most time tuning and still needs tuning! I went back and forth on how their FOV and detection was setup a million times

Thank you for checking it out!

Interesting on the performance issues - it runs without a hitch on both my mac and windows devices, but I certainly did not have time for profiling and tuning.

Totally heard on the inverted camera. In the future, that would be a setting to toggle.

There's no real secret to not getting caught haha, unlock more upgrades to increase your speed, detection cooldown, etc. The most useful upgrade is the police scanner probably that shows even inactive police on the map!

Thank you so much for taking the time!

Cool game and great level design work! It may be on my end but the camera was a bit sensitive

An impressive amount of work went into game design on this one. Really cool concept, as others have mentioned - camera and compass. It made the objectives very challenging when they are cardinal-based. Great work!

Thank you so much for giving it a play through! Means the absolute world!

Totally get that! I did try to flatten it out some, for example the vehicle upgrades are all single shot instead of having them tiered like I would do for a real roguelike, but I suppose I could have tuned a bit to make upgrades a little bit easier for the gamejam demo. Thank you for trying it out!

That means the world! Thank you!

Thank you so much!! I would love to fine tune it after judging is done!

Thank you so much for trying it out, it means more than you know! This is my first game I have ever finished and you are my first ever play tester that isn't a friend!
I would love to further refine some aspects of the physics to make the driving and collision more realistic. I would love the blend of low poly visuals but realistic physics, I think it could be pretty fun. Unfortunately with the 7 day time crunch I was obviously limited on what I could get done!

Thank you so much! Great work on this :)

I tried to purchase the full version, itch by default set the price to $7 for the 50% off sale but it did not unlock. Obv 7 is not half of 15 so I purchased again for an additional $1 but it still did not unlock the full download.
