Amazing game ! Kinda looks like a mix between FTL and Spore wich are two great games.
The game is already very good ! Maybe you can add some kind of chests that give temporarily perks, like an armor that protect the player from fire and then breaks, or something that makes the projectiles bounce for an amount of time ?
