I played the game and I liked it. But I want my opinion to be more specific and detailed, so here are some pros and cons of the game:
✅ Pros:
• The game doesn’t make your PC go brrrrrrr.
• The idea of using a camera with a CRT filter and frame is cool.
• The music is good.
• The text boxes are well-made.
• The tile-to-tile movement (I don’t know the exact name lol, sorry) for the character was a good idea.
❌ Cons:
• I didn’t notice the input controls on the page, so when I downloaded the game and tried to play, I got stuck in the first place (I couldn’t even open the door lol). It’s better to show the input controls through some text pop-ups, or get more creative and draw them on the wall or something like that, so folks like me won’t get stuck in disbelief. ;D
• The game has a lot of dark areas, so I expected more horror moments — but I almost got none. The music makes the player feel like a jumpscare or scary moment is coming, but nothing happens.
• The enemies are glowing red, so even in the dark you can easily recognize them and avoid them. This decreases the scariness of the game. Maybe if you could only see them when you get close to them, it would be much better and scarier. :ᗡ
• I don’t know if this is actually a problem or not, but some of the words used in the text boxes were unfamiliar to me (I’m a B2 in English). I had to use Google Translate to understand the messages. I think using simpler words would be better for non-native English speakers.
