I think what's more likely is that they do the same thing that fantia does: if it's an image, they will insert some fingerprint data through steganography to trace which account leaks what image. Once their scrapers detect one, it flags the account that's connected to that identifier.

DLSite was already gutted by payment processors last year. If you're outside Japan, you only get a limited catalog. If you are in Japan, you can't use Visa/Mastercard, but at least they have JCB.
Plus, eccma already had trouble with DLSite before. Very little chance he would go back there.
