i'm doing it on chrome! it may be something with my cookies. i am not sure...

i did end up restarting it because i just could not resist haha! now i am currently at 45/49 and being verrrryyyy careful with my tabs and battery life haha.

i love love love this! i enjoyed the music and the attention to detail. i see a lot of comments ragging on the ai art, but i really had no problem with it because i think it's a good resource for anyone who doesn't have the proper resources to fully illustrate such an intricate game. the only thing that was a little bit frustrating was the scrolling through of all the names when trying to put them in the identity slots... it was hard to do it properly sometimes. it felt like it was kind of sensitive. super fun and a great mental workout, though!

that being said, I HIT SAVE AND QUIT BUT IT DID NOT SAVE. maybe i shouldn't have closed the tab. i dunno. this is so sad. i was well into it and dont think i will start over again because of how long it took the first time :(

hey there! thank you so much for the compliments! (and the keyboard smashes and all caps; i'm pretty fond of those myself lol) i really appreciate it! it took me by surprise that you managed to find this thing!; i feel like it's a bit buried haha. i really try to make my characters relateable and realistic, so i'm glad that you could find something to relate to santi about haha :). (of course, they say write what you know, and in-game avatar dissatisfaction is something i'm all too familiar with haha.) 

i really do hope to create more games in the future! the problem is, of course, ideas! (whether lack of them or excess of them!) currently, i'm working on a comic, so i have been primarily focused on that as well, but i'm almost done with the first draft which means (drumroll please) a chance to start another project!!!! if you have any ideas, i'd love to hear them. creativity is at its peak in collaboration (that's what i think, anyway)! 

currently, i'm only on wattpad. my account is @ soft-spots if you'd like to follow me there. i don't have much up yet besides some poems and flash fiction, but i hope to update it soon. what i *do* have, though, is a version of "deep breaths" with a couple of additional scenes i added just to make up for the fact that it's slightly less interactive! so that works out nicely if you are a fan of this :D.

sound design is SICK

my project definitely isn't as cool as yours is  (;-;)  but I would love to hear feedback haha.  and I would love to be friends :^)  we are now friends.  it is official. 

I finished the game and got only one ending (i don't think jumping ship in the beginning counts as one) but I would like to play again and get the rest as well as the 2nd half of the photos.  i really liked the use of sound effects and how the subtle hints all made sense (but that's just regular good ol' storytelling lol). call me selfish but i love your illustrations and style and would love a couple more thrown in there—like of the crow and ami! slightly disappointed that i couldn't throw the muffin at the crow to knock the glint down, but then i guess that would be bullying. i really like your work and also the clever things i would encounter in there! keep making games and i will always be here to leave overly long comments to support them!

ps: there was *one* typo i encountered which was in the last leg of the game when nana invites you over lol. it was an extra r in shirt (shirrt) but that was it. fantastic writing once again! 

pps: this is extraordinarily random but i feel like you may enjoy the book "build your house around my body" by violet kupersmith if you haven't already read it. it's spooky and clever and for some reason, this reminded me a bit of it even though the most they have in common is a bit of smoke, addicting writing, and paranormal elements.

i have not played yet, but i am ~very~ excited :)

!!! i'll be sure to experiment more w commands knowing that! that's so dope that u programmed that in for sort of "invisible interactions". i'm definitely a fan and looking forward to future projects :^)

this game was super fun and interesting! the color scheme and writing was really great. any game that gets me invested in lore gets bonus points. i love that in one of the scenes when i put "CRY" it actually responded i kind of freaked out with how u thought of that :)) <3 i was wondering how many endings there are? i've played thru and gotten three but i was just interested....

also, i only saw one typo which is super impressive and i think it was on the blog which can totally be excused as the blogger misspelling it. it was a (lean/learn typo i think)? 

i want a "LOVE DAD" option where the internal dialogue just goes "wow i love my dad" idk why i think it would be a wholesome easter egg. "the power of dad compels u" lol
