Amateur Anthropologist at work! Today's piece of internet history; deskspace
A tool I wish I had for people who try to convince me establishing a selfcare routine is scary or unachievable. It's missing the bells and whistles I like in a fully sized app, but it keeps me grounded and focused on actually doing what I said I would do instead of playing around.
Design wise, deskspace reminds me of other quirks in computer coding, like how people open up a desktop before opening a browser or their files. It feels very grounded in a digital world without forgetting that computers are representations of reality. It's not asking for you to remember anything other than to check in with yourself and see what's on your desk.
Would love a version for phones, it would make a really nice widget set!
