BRAVO! I didnt look at any cheat sheets, so it was tough at first, but boy it was worth it. Right off the bat got strong Beginners Guide vibes which I love, so I dug in and started exploring. There is a lot of visual quips, surrealism and humour here, and the puzzles have basic cultural references that are just right to not be too difficult but enough to make you feel smart and satisfied. AND there is a hero cutscene in the middle, very nice motion. My favourite so far, would defo play a commercial version of this. Only one thing that was a negative: I got stuck after what I suspect is 80% of the game on the stairs, and since theres no jump button (I understand why) and no unstuck option, I couldn't get out! Will try another playthrough some other time.
Emotionally hooking, very smooth/intuitive introduction. Felt like a finished game they way it started, not a gamejam entry! But I have to echo what FormallyKnownAsPants said about controls and precise platforming -> the dodge wasn't easy, and that was not an enjoyable challenge to me because I felt so bad for the dog every time I died! That said, very very solid and well built
