very good game, i can see clear inspiration from super hexagon
i think something novel like this is pretty good, and i enjoyed playing it
i do enjoy seeing the quotes (that only appear after around 8 seconds) after dying. it's giving getting over it from bennett foddy.
i guess i'll suggest some qol stuff:
1. there should be a timer somewhere to know how far you're in the... one level. turns out it is visible... in the version of the game in downloads.
2. music volume slider. it's a bit too loud yeah
as a player who's crushed super hexagon, i think it's a very interesting game and it has potential. the shape being hard to control definitely adds to the frustration, which i think you nailed it. so far, my best is 17, but i think that's due to luck.
i'd like to suggest a few things:
first, i think the song should stop playing when you die. it's to really tell the player that the game is indeed over.
second, i think the amount of sides in the background should match the shape.
it's a small detail, and i fear that it may make it look like a super hexagon ripoff, but it's up to you if you if you want to add these suggestions.
i look forward to what you do with infinigon in the future!
