Nice work! I like premise and style. The hunger mechanic is a good one.  I was planting lots of veggies thinking to myself-- what does this have to do with the theme... then I found out the hard way. lol

The galaxy is getting crowded. Alliances are being formed... and broken.  

We just crossed the 100 player threshold. Not everyone is continuing to play, but those that are, are rapidly expanding out into the galaxy.  It's not too late to join us and try to rule the galaxy!  Deep Night is a live browser 4X strategy MMO of diplomacy and betrayal. The galaxy zoom was one of the very first ideas we had for it, because we really wanted to give it that epic sense of scale. You start off as this puny insignificant civilization on some random rock, and you have to really explore and expand into the galaxy.  

Thank you so much! The deeper in you get and more players in the galaxy the more you get the social element of theme. The diplomacy, the alliances, and betrayals. :-D It's all starting to happen in game (just takes some time... by design haha). Unfortunately that's not the easiest stuff to show off in a jam setting, but we are definitely going to keep it going afterward, and do a full release after some improvements.  

Best time to play is when you're bored at work. ;-)

Very cool and original idea! Love the old school vibes.  I would be into playing like a longer narrative-driven mystery-style game like this.  

I really like this classic mystery setup and art style. Unfortunately, it seemed like there was a bug where I would keep getting stuck next to an NPC, and then the game would crash.  It would be cool to see a longer narrative version of this game.

Seems like a cool game, and I like card games like this, but I was just doing random things in the beginning trying to figure out how to play, haha. It could definitely do with a tutorial, but I think this is good starting place to build from. Nice work.      

Really liked this one.  I genuinely wanted to keep playing. Love the pixel fantasy vibes. Controls could be a bit janky, but I would love to see a longer more polished version with more mechanics.   

Not enough... that's for sure. lol

I like the premise with the little twist on Among Us. Took me a while to figure out what I was doing though and it seemed pretty hard.

We realized this is probably a hard pitch during a game jam, but we just really wanted to make a game like this anyway, because we wanted to play it ourselves haha. Despite its slow-burn nature, we're hoping that people will still check it out, get hooked, play it in the background while their checking out other games :-D, and keep coming back after the jam.  We plan on fully supporting it and making it even better.

This is a clever idea, I like interesting spins on classic games.  

Very cool game, much more polished than most games in the jam, which is really nice to see. Art was unique too. One thing-- I kind of wish you started with more crew members (or got them quicker) so you get to the killer dynamic faster which is the more interesting gameplay element.

Cool game, I like core mechanic.  Would be cool to see this as a fleshed out game.

I wasn't familiar with "dreamcore" before but I'm into it. Kind of reminded me of a Myst-style game. I liked the surreal vibe a lot, and it was very disorienting like other people mentioned. Controls felt a bit janky though, but maybe that's part of the effect. I'd like to play more polished version of a game like this for sure.

Cool concept and I like the style, it has a cohesive vision. Took me a little bit to figure out what was going on though haha.
