As a speedrunner myself- the manual restart would be life saving. Right now whenever I need to reset I just jump off a cliff and die as fast as I can haha

Heave you already beaten First Kiln? I found that pit to be a great addition if you need more content! (You need to beat Nightmare first though)

I have been playing the game non-stop for a couple days now and I have finally gotten to the third difficulty (No spoilers, I won't even name drop. Beat Nightmare, it's worth it!!!)

Here is my genuine review of the game;

Overall: 9.5/10

Gameplay:

The gameplay is AMAZING! The grapple hook (usually*) feels super easy to use and sticky allowing for a 'pick-up and play' feel. In a matter of minutes you'll feel like Tarzan hitting crazy hooks and swinging from ledge to ledge praying you're faster than the enormous centipede which is actually really fun to race against. Once you get into the harder difficulties, Freddy (my unofficial name for the centipede) will start learning your routes and will race you to the bottom to grab you. This makes for REALLY intense moments where you just have to pray you were faster than Freddy and if not you have a BIG surprise waiting for you on the next pit haha!

Graphics:

Highly reminiscent of lethal company, the graphics are PERFECT in my opinion. Detailed enough to enjoy the atmosphere, blurry enough to make you stress whether or not you're staring at a tree or Freddy running mach 15 to come get you!

Story:

NO SPOILERS- the story is great! At first I thought there just wasn't one, and tbh it's a great game even without a story but they did an excellent job with the very limited, but open-ended story telling. Nothing insane, but enough that you stop and think about what is happening in this world and make a few theories as to what's actually happening.

Bugs/Glitches:

This game was rated 9.5 instead of 10 for only one reason. There is an issue with the grapple hook if it tries to connect to 2 separate planes at once. The grapple hook will land, stick, try to land onto the other plane, and will then completely roll off the structure. Leads to some frustrating losses (especially when speedrunning) but this is the only bug I have come across.

Truely a wonderful game and a great contribution to the Indie scene. The fact this game is free right now makes it an absolute pick up and I wish everyone nothing but the best of luck as they descend!
