bakin now supports controller rumble when you make the screen shake :) so i just made a small screen shake when you get hit.
also thankyou! i really wish i had more time to finish it. so much stuff was cut but i had to focus on fixing a bug with the targetting system so at least one thing would work.

i realise now that i should have included descriptions of the abilities. the basic attack is a player-centred AOE that attacks enemies within 1.0 distance of the player. the special attack raises all enemies that are within 1.0 distance of the player into the air and keeps them there. using the special attack a 2nd time will throw all enemies currently in bubbles toward the player's location and impact enemies within a 2.0 range. the 2nd state of the special attack will only work if at least 1 enemy is currently in the air. if there are no enemies currently in the air, using the special attack again will proceed to use its first state. the block makes you immune to all damage other than the large AOE attack which is unblockable. blocking also makes enemy projectiles bounce. when you kill an enemy, you absorb their fire after a short delay - this heals the player. hope this helps if you give it another try. i was incredibly short on time toward the end of the gamejam and completely forgot to include skill descriptions.

love the work you've done with cutscenes, dialogue is good too. only bit that felt a bit lacking was the outside area before it switches to first person. all together pretty good!
