I realized that I needed to make items drop more, but it was too late by then!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do think I should have increased the drop chance, but again, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The music is by TechHead, who I linked in the project description! I see you got fission cell. I actually had to nerf it because it was dealing +200% damage for the explosions instead of +150%, and they exploded on hit, not on kill! Pretty OP!
This game is pretty fun! I would suggest decreasing the gravity, as it seemed to be very strong! I liked the music, and one other suggestion I have is, if possible, to pre-load the particle effects! Pressing start, choosing maps, even pressing "menu" in game over caused significant lag spikes! Other than that, good game!
I liked the game, but I think that the game would be better with lower sensitivity, coyote time, and variable jump height! I also think that you should add checkpoints, or at least make the player respawn faster. I also didn't notice the wall sticking feature and thought it was a bug at first, and whatever the case, I think you should add wall jumps! My main complaint is the sensitivity is much too high!
A cool idea, and I had fun! I encountered a bug where one of my tasks would appear as completed(a checkmark) and in the to-do list, and when I tried to do it, I couldn't do anything, so I had to wait until the next day(It was the box one, and I still beat the game!). Aside from that, I only have two suggestions. One is to up the difficulty a bit! I didn't have much difficulty, and finished week 10 on Thursday! Just a simple change of having a bit less time, or maybe even a difficulty selection. Obviously, time constraints mean you can't have all the features you want, but still something to consider for after the jam! The one other suggestion I had is to add more minigames! Again, time constraints, but I would suggest something like a file based minigame, or attending meetings where you have to submit the right answers, that kind of thing! Other than that, great game, good luck!
The bullets of the enemies ended up being way faster than anticipated, and they lasted about twice as long as your bullets. I didn’t have much time to test, and I only had 10 minutes before the jam ended to submit last-minute fixes(I was not available when the jam ended, but I was surprised it got extended by 1 hour!). The fixes were for crashes and severe lag from picking up an item and having it activate! Unfortunately, I only noticed the insane difficulty spike after the jam was over. Guess that’s another fix for later! I’m glad you liked my items, two of them were taken basically straight from Risk of Rain 2, one of my favourite game!
I didn’t get to do much playtesting, probably because of the 28 items(It was originally going to be 50), but I played a bit of a run after the jam was over so I could submit some screenshots, and I noticed that the bullets consistently fire to the right of where you’re aiming, so I have no idea why that happens. I’ll see if I can fix it after rating! It could have been spread, which makes your bullets fire to the left or right a bit, but I don’t think that was the error I was encountering! Thanks for the feedback, though!
The game is fun, but I have some suggestions! I would love to see some more levels, or puzzle elements, but I understand that you didn't get the chance! I would also suggest ensuring that the light always starts in the same position on the 2nd level, because otherwise the player can start taking damage immediately after entering! One other suggestion I have, which is a very small one, is just to add a countdown on level entry, so that the player is ready to start! I wouldn't say it's as important as the other suggestions I have, but still worth considering. Other than that, good job!
I enjoyed it, some feedback I would give is add movement support for QWERTY keyboards, not just AZERTY(W/A/S/D instead of just Z/Q/S/D), and I would suggest having the truck not go vertical when you drive into a wall. That happened to me on every run, and I just couldn't do anything! The concept is cool, I like the style, but there are a few quality of life features I've suggested.
For your first time ever making a video game, this is pretty good. I get that you followed a tutorial, but still, good job! Keep working on this skill! Some feedback I have is to make it so that you have more than one life, or not reset the coins when you die! Also, I would really recommend adding feedback, or "Juice", such as screenshake or a fade-in/fade-out when you die!
I was unable to play the web build, but windows worked fine. It was fun, but I encountered an issue where merino would only apply body effect once, even though there were two other merino. If this is intentional, then that's fine! I also think that you should make breeding two animals of the same type buff the result, because otherwise, you waste an animal! I think the buff could be as simple as increasing one of the stats by one!
For being your first project made while learning Godot, this is pretty impressive! I would suggest continuing to work on it after the rating period is over, just for practice! Some feedback/suggestions I have are to add music, and make sure the player points in the direction they're moving!(left/right). Man, the 3rd enemies are hard!
