obliteration route is neat. i liked how it was serious like UT's geno route, but in it's own disturbing way since I've seen the UT flavor of that many times. maybe i'll write further a defense of obliteration route.

I like the piano's sound design, the chords are very nice and thee general playing is very nice. I agree with House that it's not very connected to the theme, thought it was a hard theme lol! Though I do have a pet peeve that the sound is overall pretty muddy, one way you could change that is by making a separate channel for the delay/reverb and EQing just the delay/reverb so you can keep the tone of the piano without the delay/reverb getting too muddy sounding. Overall, quite good and wish there was more!
Reminded me of rainworld and disaster piece (of pez and hyper light drifter fame), with down-in-the-mix/subtle repeating synths, pulsing with life and folley and minimal electronic ambient drones. The atmosphere created is empty, lonely, and both scared and sorrowed me. Nothing stuck out in the mix, and none of it felt too crowded or overwhelming where it shouldn't have been.
I only dock it on inclusion of the theme "Future Past" since it really only seems like the "Past" part of that, at least in my lowly opinion.
