Thanks for the feedback, Kip. Now that they are allowing updates, I'm going to try and get a new version uploaded soon. I'll definitely try to reproduce that bug and get it fixed as well. If you have any more info, I'd appreciate it. Like, did it hit the basket before it landed on the ground, or did it happen on a particular hole or with a particular disc? I'm rewriting some of the state machine code, which might catch this type of error. I'm also adding a more functional menu system. So, I'll add an option to reset the disc, instead of having to quit, if that happens again. I admit that I was scrambling to get the gameplay done before the deadline, and didn't really spend any time on testing and polish. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Status Update

I'm currently in the process of upgrading the game to use the new Orion SDK. Previous attempts to fix the controls proved to be futile. With the significant tracking improvements provided by Orion, I am optimistic that I'll be able to get the motion controls working much better.

Updated Build 1.3 - (Likely final submission build)

  • New aiming/throwing interface with better accuracy.
  • Final holes and maps.
  • Fix for disc physics at extreme angles.
