hi, thank you for playing! the serious mode just gives the crab a propeller hat, it's purely visual
also the transition intensity setting worked for me when I tested it on the windows build - the skybox shader doesn't stretch or get brighter in the minimal setting, and the extreme setting makes it MUCH brighter
we added this setting because some playtesters told us that the transitions hurt their eyes a little, so it potentially not working is a cause for concern..... if it's not too much trouble could you check it again? if it doesn't work we'll have to edit the page to add a warning
hi, thank you for your feedback! however, it seems to me like you played an earlier WebGL build of the game that the itch page reverted to for some reason
if the background was plain black and the level was white and red, it's the old version and i'm currently working on uploading the updated version so consider checking it out or playing the windows build instead!
