That was so fun, great job! Love the tight controls.

Fyi I got it working on my Windows 11 laptop by downloading the latest .net runtime. The terminal exits itself before showing the error that clues you in. But if you go to Mayday_Runner/data/ in your terminal, and run Mayday_Runner from there then it’ll show the error.

Thank you!

Thanks for playing! Yeah it was all down to time I think, we only had 3 of the days working on it. Next time I’m gonna take a full week 😅 and at least more can just be added in updates.

That’s really heartening to hear, thanks for playing!

Thanks so much, I’m glad the atmosphere drew you in! I’m really excited to update the game asap with actual in-ship interactions.

Holy smokes, what an excellently crafted game. The puzzles and the clues are so perfectly integrated into the lore, and every powerup was under your nose the whole time! Love games that do that.

Great writing, instantly intriguing. And for some reason the gameplay was actually pretty fun, I think because of the limited vision and the maze design.

Thank you for playing! The intro music intentionally fades after a short period because the short loop is too repetitive, it’s presence during the main game is a bug whoops 😅 I’ll be fixing that, and adding more SFX next weekend, after the gameplay focused update this weekend.

Thanks for playing! More interactivity will def be the focus of this weekend’s update- alongside script edits. Ship maintenance tasks will space out and naturally introduce the three scenarios, and they’ll add new fail states.

Thanks for playing! I just ran out of time, and decided to at least showcase all the scenarios that were written. You can move the camera around the ship with the arrow keys, adding a description now with the controls! Edit: controls and all the other details have been added to the site.

Can’t get it to run on my Windows 11 PC just fyi! Looking forward to checking this one out.

Holy shit I love this addon so much, thank you!

Really nice feeling, great implementation of a top down platformer, and I loved how you evolved the mechanics in just a few levels.

It was so relaxing to move the leaves around ☺️

Great job, feels very responsive!

This is def the best game in the jam, it’s so well implemented, and the art is gorgeous!

The art style is so pretty, and the concept is cool.

Aw this is adorable. I love the sprite for picking up the cat!

The gameplay feel is tight, despite the simplicity.

Thank you so much! It’s my first 3D game, but I’m really happy with my models and lighting. The rest of the team are audio engineers and composers, so I had awesome SFX to pull from. I’ll be adding in a lot more sounds and music that I didn’t have time to implement.

Sick, great little game 🙂‍↕️

Thanks for checking it out, yeah it’s not really a game yet 😅 But we did just announce that development on the full game has officially begun! (also new art!) https://ottoworld.itch.io/slots/devlog/1014898/development-begins

Not at all. It was tricky in a good way, and it got me replaying it!

Excellent job, so fun. I maxed out all the powers and can fly infinitely 😅

Still more fun than Tamagotchi!

GRUBKINS

The menu UI is really cool, and I like the intro music. The gameplay didn’t quite come together for me. Thank you for adding controller support!

Awesome job, this was a treat to play 😁

It ran for me, but was a lot of bashing my head against it until something happened. I did laugh when I brought a pizza out and the cat chased my cursor down and vibrated like he’d never been fed before 😂 Just like my irl ragdoll when the treats come out.

Wait you can move?! I was doing the opposite, sniping everything lol.

I played it with my partner, we were terrible but I’m blown away by this concept. Super cool idea, and I actually got used to the movement controls eventually, felt kind of slick 👀

It’s fun and responsive once you get the hang of it! I love your art style. I do wish that I earned money much faster, after 6 rounds or so with no changes there wasn’t much point in the shop cause I couldn’t afford it.

It may have been done before, but this is a tidy execution, well done! I attempted level three… three times before quitting 😂 But it wasn’t unfair.

I love it 😂 The different camera angles was so unexpected! For what it’s worth, I think it’s quite well tutorialised, very clear!

Holy crap I am obsessed. This game cracks me up but is somehow the most solid and fair puzzler in the jam.

This is so darling ❤️ One complaint is that the shop sometimes spawns items too close to it, so would appreciate a separate binding for the shop.

I like the video timeline theme, and the idea for the game. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the controls 😭

Nice, not too complex. I played till level 7 :)

It’s a cool concept! I wish it was more telegraphed how to get started.
