unfortunately the UI elements posed one of the larger issues with this project. sorry if it was inconvenient, hope you enjoyed the game nonetheless. cheers

i was thinking about having a tile that when u land on it, it removes the "next move indicators", until you land on another one of the same tile. Didn't get the chance to implement it sadly. I was definitely trying to get the player to use their visualisation skills for this one. thanks for the feedback!

to be truly honest, I found this was the case too. I think I really only started understanding how to properly use the dice (and therefore how to make good levels) towards the end of the jam. when playtesting, half the times I'd finish it was luck too

I spent a good little while hunting for the right sounds, in the future I'd like to have multiple minor variations on the rolling sound to really make it nice. cheers!

i did really want to make the player think about an actual 3D dice while playing, almost practising mental 3D visualization.. thank you!

yeah the difficulty spikes a little too hard for my liking too. thank you!

thank you very much! yes play testing this was sometimes a real pain as completing some of the levels was a lot harder than I'd planned.

much appreciated

im surprised to hear about the art. I thought it was pretty rubbish lol, thank you though. appreciate the comment

thank you!

yes I totally agree. I really wanted to do it in 3D but I've never worked with unity3D so i decided i'd try something im more familiar with. cheers

but just want to reiterate, hardly ruined the experience for me. thoroughly enjoyed what you put together

the screen with the dice, photo and PSP, where either the d6 or d8 can be thrown, I had glitch where no matter where or what I clicked it would just produce more buttons to roll the d6 or d8, to the point where the entire screen was covered. Thankfully a refresh of the page fixed it every time it happened

this was awesome! great sound and music design choices, really interesting concept. I also enjoyed how the abilities were linked to the position of the thrown dice, great multipurpose mechanic! great work for 72hrs. looking forward to see more of your work

Everything about this one is fantastic. Cohesive style, adhesion to the theme (more or less), interesting use of the limitation and a great concept. The controls became intuitive after a few moments. Had a blast, amazing work

the atmosphere was fantastic in this! i loved all the sprite work too. i did find it very hard to see anything so maybe up the power of the light slightly. apart from that, great work!

Apart from the few bugs I ran into, this was an awesome little experience! adventurous for a 72hr jam but nicely execeuted. well done guys

Awesome use of the concept, definitely one that would be interesting to expand on. well done !

The presentation of this was great! nice work given it was only a day. What you wanted to do is what I ended up doing (https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-83-dread/rate/1104331). trickier than expected
