Hi! I’m looking for first-time players to test POPCORN PANIC, a free 2D incremental automation game made with Godot.

You begin by manually feeding corn into a heated pot. Each kernel heats and pops independently, earning money. Upgrade your popcorn value, heating speed, pot capacity, production speed and batch size, then unlock automatic feeding and build a continuously operating popcorn factory.

Download the free Windows playtest here: https://oscarww.itch.io/popcorn-panic-playtest

The game interface is in English. After downloading, extract the ZIP and open POPCORN_PANIC.exe.

Suggested test:

  • Start with a new save.
  • Try to reach 5,000 POP.
  • Notice any stage with excessive waiting.
  • Look for confusing buttons, numbers or objectives.

After playing, please tell me:

  1. How long did you play?
  2. Which stage felt the slowest or most repetitive?
  3. Was anything unclear?
  4. Did you encounter any bugs?
  5. Would you buy a finished version for US$3? Why or why not?

Honest and critical feedback is very welcome. Thank you!
