Wow...absolutely beautiful song! The chords, the vocals, the lyrics, it's all so mesmerizing. Also, you're such an amazing guitar player, I really loved all of the different riffs and solos throughout the song. I've already listened a few times over and over! 😅

Even with a decent amount of songs scrapped, you absolutely COOKED with this! I can only imagine what the full potential of this OST could be. Awesome work! And I LOVE that distorted humming bass across the tracks. For me, it serves as like an anchor between them, which really helps for cohesiveness of course, but also a lot of the tracks are very treble-based so when that bass kicks in it feels SO satisfying to hear again. Something about Atreus Nyx Malik is my favorite. The ambience in the background sounding like screams and cries, the piano chord stings, and once again that bass...it all really comes together so well creating that image of a terrible apocalypse. Very well done!

I'm so glad you guys were able to have fun collaborating whilst making such a great selection of songs. This is my second time listening to both of your works (first time from Lone Rabbit's OST Composing Jam 8) and WOW, it's so nice hearing both of your creativities shine and merge together so well. The songs are extremely cohesive, and the storytelling has so much depth to it that I can imagine each scene perfectly. One of the rare times I can't really choose a favorite track because the whole thing is just awesome. Amazing work from both of you!

I really liked both tracks, but WOW I loved Neptroß's theme! It feels so fitting for a dangerous creature wanting to consume the Nemos for power. Loving the 7/8 time signature too in it, and that guitar riff is super sick. Great work!

Good work from both of you! I love the first track Sheni for setting the ambience, and as others have pointed out, the percussion and sound design is stunning! REM really makes me feel like I'm embarking on intense scouting missions in space. Also, side note, I loved the project page aesthetic and writing!

I really appreciate the kind words and feedback! And nitpicking is good in moderation lol very good tips (I also had some gripes about the lead that I’ve altered a few times). It’s layered with two different sounds, and I can’t remember if I added stereo separation to both, which could be a factor to what you were mentioning. When I get back home, I want to do some testing with it, so thank you! Happy that you liked it overall!

Thank you! Celeste is one of my favorite games (including its soundtrack) so that’s awesome that this reminded you of it. Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you so much for checking it out (and also recommending it on the discord), really means a lot! The ending of Blackout was one of my favorites to write, especially during drafts, so I’m happy that was a highlight. Very glad that you enjoyed!

It was definitely my main goal to convey as much emotion as possible with however many tracks I had the energy for lol and I’m very glad that you found it complex, thank you!

Wow, thank you so much for your words, they mean a lot coming from you (really enjoyed your entry!). I really appreciate the detailed review for each song too, I’m glad that each song managed to give the effect I had in mind!

Thank you so much!

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I had a lot of fun messing with the percussion in this one, so I’m glad it turned out okay!

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Also, I really appreciate the feedback too, might go back to the project files later on to do some messing around / experimentation!

Very beautifully composed! I’m sorry to hear about your technical issues, but WOW you managed through it amazingly. Loved the use of motifs and themes.

Absolutely my favorite piece is Eryndor’s Madness. Those initial few seconds are stunning, and the section around 1:40 legit gave me chills with the choir joining in. It gave me similar vibes of Octopath Traveler’s final boss music.

Ah, chiptune my beloved…

I really love the chords in these songs and its progressions. I always think chiptune sounds so beautiful with good harmonies and this is it!!

Such great storytelling, in not only the included written lore but also in the music! As I read, which somehow timed perfectly with the descriptions, I could really envision and feel as if I was playing this game! I love the attention to detail and dedication to researching traditional instruments (and also the use of motifs). This was an experience!

These are awesome! I’m very impressed you made these all while being burnt out (I feel that…), I seriously could never tell. Really liked the sound of this ost, and it fits perfectly for a puzzle game (even the Credits fitting in pretty well). My personal favorite is Shooting Stars. Something about the intro makes me feel like I’m getting ready for lock in whatever puzzle is next.

I absolutely LOVE this soundtrack. The ambience in every song is very well crafted, along with the beautiful melodies. The piano is very nice!

My favorite is hard to choose, since I could listen to the whole thing over and over! If I had to choose, it’d probably be Diashow or In Flow.

Amazing work!

Really cool soundtrack and idea, especially for the game concept! These tracks are so relaxing too, especially Coming up the Mountain and The Ancient Forest (which I feel like ties into each other really well). Also, let Vanessa know the cover art is amazing too!

The intro literally felt like I was floating when I closed my eyes. Absolutely amazing. I absolutely love breakcore, so when I could hear the drums slowly coming in, I had the biggest smile on my face. I had to listen to this a few times, great work!

I loved every single one of these tracks! Very big fan of the piano melodies and the use of the "fragmented" synths. They work with the idea that you have extremely well. Fragments is absolutely my favorite track out of all of these,  the strings halfway through leading to the climax of the song is so beautiful! Also, towards the end, I can hear like a reversed sample of some kind; very subtle but it sounds so sick, especially with this idea of distortion. What a soundtrack!

Every track perfectly fits the purpose you've envisioned, even if I didn't look at what it was for! I like that distant vein is so much more cinematic, like it truly is the ending (so immersive!). Also, I really enjoyed sample_unnamed, so simple and almost peaceful but the deep bass and kicks are almost beating like a heart, keeping you on your toes almost. Awesome soundtrack overall!

This is...absolutely amazing! I love the interpretation of the theme and the game idea. I also appreciate the pictures showing the process with recording from your baby grand piano; seems like it was a complicated but fun process! The music perfectly gives off this nostalgic vibe, from the percussions to the jazzy harmonies, everything about it. And these chord progressions!! Close the House has been on repeat LOL well done!
