I've seen a couple people fail to trigger the true ending by quitting the game- I think it's a glitch, sadly. There *is* a true ending, and it *does* require quitting the game at the Starbucks. The game requires you to quit after Kate finishes speaking and exits, and before the final Starbucks. If you have a save period *between* these points and you load into that, the game won't recognise the trigger for the true ending and it will just close normally. 

I'm sorry about the error and the confusion. A patch will be coming very soon to make sure everyone can always trigger the true ending by quitting at the right time.

(If you replay the final chapter from start to finish, then choose to quit at the final Starbucks, it should be guaranteed to work)

Some people have been having trouble with the endings. 

SPOILERS AHEAD

To access the main endings you must:

• Use the One Time Passcode you receive on the final evening instead of the regular One Time Passcode when opening the employee directory
• Have at least 3 filled vials

After this, to access the true ending, at the final Starbucks drink you must forcibly quit the game.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem on my own. 
The version number still says 1.0 but it's been updated- although that shouldn't change your gameplay problem since it's in a section of the code I haven't touched.

Correct! I recently patched the game to make it easier to do so.
There are two true endings, both are locked behind filling at least 3. It's a pretty chunky final chapter.

I'm sorry it was difficult for you- I have seen a couple of people now reach the end without enough to continue and hopefully in the latest version it's more straightforward. I think my way of calibrating the point scoring was too harsh in the first version.

You can use the save menu and turn on skipping for unseen text to speed through the game and make different choices. There's a skip button in the top right that should make it quite quick.

But if you don't want to do that, I can email you a save file that's standing at that final door with all the vials full. Or if you paid, I can give you a full refund!
