Haha. I found that the echo isn't very good at cooking patties (it takes too long for a single loop), and it was best to let it do the veggies. I think in a more polished version of the game levels would require you to use multiples echos together in creative ways to meet some kind of cooking goal.

Thanks for the feedback - I ran out of time and wasn't able to get a good tutorial done.

To create an echo, you first press Shift to begin recording. When you re-enter the blue rectangle, the recording will end and your echo will begin to loop.

Probably my favorite game from the jam :)

Great work for your first game! I was able to make it all the way through on my first run

Good fun

I wasn't really sure what I was meant to be doing. Art is wonderful though!

Those damn aliens, I couldn't avoid them haha.

Nice! I really like the sound effects you used, feels really immersive.
I got a bit confused on which button was which - maybe an up and down icon would have helped.

Was there any reason you returned to the lobby after each cycle? I never saw any differences there.

Don't we all 😩

Thankyou! I did originally have multiple clones, but didn't have time to get the balance right with them. In my vision of a 'finished' version of the game, you'd be able to upgrade the echoes in various way as the game also scales in difficulty.

It's harder than it look haha. I can easily spend a long time playing this.

Incredible work for your first game jam. The art is wonderful.

Thankyou for playing! I think the shadow is easily my favorite butterfly :)

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback! Definitely agree with all your feedback :) I ended up spending most of the jam learning 3d modelling, so didn't have much time for the level design in the end and just cobbled something together quickly. And ahh, the mouse works fine on desktop but the way the web player interacts with input events (specifically the escape key) can cause it to become unlocked. You can fix it by going into and out of the pause menu, but yeah its pretty buggy.

Thanks for playing<3

Thanks for playing, and persisting through a crash! I didn't think very much about optimising for web and had to make a whole bunch of changes right at the end for it to run properly. Those butterflies are indeed very pesky to spot 👀

Thanks so much for playing! I was having some trouble sculpting the cave and had to give the player more range of motion, but forgot to check whether that let you fall into the water 😅. Glad you were able to find your way out ahah

Thanks for the feedback Kaikue! We ran out of time to get the enemy attacks working the way we wanted (In addition to a lot of stuff haha), so I'd agree that their attacks can be quite punishing. We're going to give ourselves more time next time!
