hey, nice experiment. I've been interested in Flickgame and can see a limitation here in trying to do minimal animations. I found and played this version first before the HTML5 version and I must say - even as someone who's pretty literate in this kind of art (vaguely interactable interactable pixel experiences in a browser) - I felt I didn't understand what had happened, if I had had any choice. This doesn't have nearly the emotional impact that the original does. It's really interesting what gets lost in translation.

hey really nice work, i almost filled a page breaking down the different mechanic interactions in class. the 'break through the pipe' level had us really stuck for like 10 mins and gave up, we couldn't solve it the intended way and thought it might be a red herring and something to do with screenwrap.
hey, i really connected with this one. i've had a similar relationship with bitsy, really wanting to make more small imperfect things (like upatree) but not because i often look back on them with more fondness than the more planned and polished project. that ending is really touching. i'll be thinking about this for a while i'm sure. thank you for making it.
the scrappy sprites and guitar remind me of early animation YouTube I was into when i was a teenager :]
this little experince conveys to me a kinda surveillance anxiety around your personal rituals and struggling to feel like you have permission and the means to chill out. at first i thought it was bugged that you couldn't light the joint, but maybe it's because you're hesitant even when you should feel safe to do so? it would've been real satisfying for that to work when you're in the clear.
nice work!
hey, great work, particularly the visual art :]
if not for the itch caption, it would've been super surprising for it to get suddenly horrifying.
my interpretation of this is that you're feeling stuck in routine/rituals, and getting dissassociative or having intrusive thoughts while trying to conduct ceremonies which are meant to be comforting and grounding in culture.
hey, super nice spritework! this scene was a delight to click around for the first few minutes or so. i started to feel like i'd clicked everything on the scene at least thrice and i got the impression that it was just a waiting game. i found three meerkats and then while waiting for the fourth to show up i went to make a coffee, came back and still no sign of 'em. maybe it's bugged, but waiting that long felt counterintuitive to how clickable the scene is and i'm sad i didn't find the last two, they r so squishy :[
hey this tool helped me realise an animation I'd had bouncing around in my brain for months. so grateful. the workflow would've been so much slower if not for this!
