I finally got level seven, worth mentioning for anyone still stuck:

I love trace but I'm not sure about this story. I thought the story integration in escape from claymount was pretty good, so I know colorbomb can do it well, but there is a big issue with how it was implemented here.
I love to be pulled into a story by puzzles that flow in parallel with the narrative. The type of games where you might find a secret room, but also learn why that room exists in the context of the story and what it's purpose was. (e.g. Quern)
Taking a game like trace with excellent, but disconnected puzzles and trying to drop in a story will not work the same way. Even with some connections I can forsee to the solar system and pyramid puzzles, it feels obvious that it was an afterthought. Instead of being pulled into the story by the puzzles, this is quite literally pulling me away from the puzzles so that I can hear the story.
I don't want to be too critical, I like the graphical improvements and some of the puzzle changes, but this feels like an issue I can't ignore
Grandpa made the dumbest wish ever! Pretty nice game though.
I've noticed that when the 2x2 L pieces have both ends possibly connecting to the same connection point, the placement cycle begins with those single-connection options, even when there is a double connection available, which led to a lot of misplacement for me.
the 3D effect is really cool! I'm having a lot of fun so far! I noticed that at night if you solve the flower puzzle, look at mirror, turn on laser, or roll dice it looks like daytime. mostly only happens if you break the sequence but hopefully you can fix these. I'm always looking forward to your games!
Pretty fun game!
Most of the levels were relatively easy but the game obviously gets exponentially harder with fewer colors. It reminds me a lot of Simon Tatham's 'Mosaic' puzzle, except with actual pictures. I'm guessing the puzzles are being generated entirely based on the solution image, but maybe a greater challenge could be created by manually selecting some information to remove? 24 was my favourite level because the eye colors that you usually do first ended up being the last thing which I thought was neat. My only complaint is sometimes it's hard to distinguish color indicators, like level 11 where a black color indicator can look like dark blue when the background is light blue, though it's more so a drawback of Pico-8 .
Kind of a complex puzzle concept but I think you implemented it perfectly!
