i know it's been a couple months-- but i feel it's also worth noting we used the Abandoned Blue Color pallette on Lospec, i loved the challenge of making it all work with just a few colors.

The sign is there specifically to torture you!!! Glad you had a nice time playing :D

(the sign is just a sprite with no text attached hahaha)

Dropping my link to remember to come back and play yours!

i had a team of NINE people!! I loved working in a team on this, and hope you all had fun as well. Here's our link:

Droping my link here so that i remember to check out your game once i'm done with work today!

Here's ours:

Fantastic work!!

I didn't care for having to unlock all the different rooms, at certain points i was constructing entire loops just to get one piece of the puzzle. It was also very short.

Bravo! Very fun game, and a fun take on the theme.

The imagery of the ouroboros is something i'm always going to be fond of. I liked the graphics too.

I love these reccomendations!! We were originally going to do police chases but ran out of time to do pathfinding, so we put them in the traffic jams instead!

I think if we do come back and work more on this, the comments section of htis page will be really helpful 🙏

Thought my joycons were drifting. Good Entry!!

Wow!!

This game blew me away, i've rated about 20 so far and this is far and away my favorite.
I love the aesthetic, the gameplay, and the concept so much (i named my first dog after Laika and she recently passed </3)

I love that you can "melee" the enemies as well as shoot. If you were to continue developing this, i'd say add challenge rounds with many planes or asteroids but only those enemies, or rounds where you can't shoot, or rounds where you can't "melee" so to speak.

Great work!!

What a silly take on the theme!! Clever.

Always awesome to see people I know of from other places doing the GMTK. I loved the art and interpretation oft he theme here. Now get back to work on Encore! lol

So glad you enjoyed it!!

The Audio tracks were a mix of music from myself, rradiocatt and opengameart.org. The vocal tracks were from a band i was in called "Better Blemish." the more gamey sounding ones were from rradiocatt (including the menu theme!) and the rest were from opengameart. I'm going to track them down and credit them individually once i find the time haha :D

That's a great idea actually! If we come back to this I'll definitely add that in.

Hey! Thanks for playing :)
The gas drains slightly faster each day to make it harder to compete. If we'd had more time i'd have liked to make the UFO more agressive day after day but we started late haha

I   wonder what this game means!! I liked the implications.

I like the part where you chase the squirrels.

Great work with the theme. This could be an amazing full game!

I   loved the aesthetic of this game as well as the wacky "series" you've created. I found the platforming difficult in first person, and failed alot-- i would have appreciated a few different  lines from metal man when he dies rather than the same one each time.

This game is a cut above the rest!! Great work the skateboarding aspect is so cool.

This game looks so amazing. I found the controls frustrating but i understand that it's a feature not a bug hahaha!
I have to say I'm surprised to see how many car games there were!! This one is graphically the best i've seen!

The art is really good in this one! I definitely think the theme lends itself to loops.      I was on day 61 and still had only conquered two cities.

Wow!! I love wacky stuff like this. Your art was incredible, I really can't drill home enough that this game is like an art gallery.

This game would be amazing if you'd had time to make a tutorial for it. I can see this one going far with a little bit of explanation and introducing the mechanics slowly.   Good work!

This was a fun little game!!  Reminded me of the wii play tanks minigame, but this time i was the enemy!

Some tips:
I wish i could tell which parts are colideable and not more easily.

Try randomizing the pitch of the sounds in your game so that you don't get the clipping noise.

Hey! Great take on the theme.  As an audio guy, I'd reccomend randomizing footstep and shot pitch, as well as adding a bassline and some EQ to your track.
I wish there was a shot aiming line to help assist doing it, but overall this was a fun game!

Truthfully i don't fully understand this game, but games like this aren't for me.  I think there's the potential to do something really cool here.  Try randomizing the pitch of the dice sound if you can!

I'm glad you liked it! I was nervous to include those tracks, but the radio filter helped fit the game and also ease my nerves at once xD

So glad you enjoyed it! The people working with me were a DREAM team for real :D

A pizza game... fascinating! Great work on this game i love the art!

Music was primarily from myself and Rradiocatt. The vocal tracks were from a band i was in called "Better Blemish." Other choice songs were from OpenGameArt.com, and we're gonna add their individual names to the game page. Thanks for playing!

Seeing as how the developer didn't do one, i'm going to be posting a FAQ:

Q: Are there rats?
A: Yes.

Q: How many rats?
A: Yes.

That's all the time we have for the QnA.

Could you post the controls in the description? I can't seem to get the game to respond to my input with clicking/arrow keys/wasd.

I like the slot car racing inspiration here alot!

I really really appreciate the idea here. reminds me of playing with legos as a kid!

This game was super enjoyable, i really liked that in addition to the game itself operating on a loop. The player is also stuck on a circle or in other words, a "loop"

ready or not here it comes

This was so fun playing. I laughed, I cried, i croaked.
