Ok, I think that reading of the rules makes sense since it says that it extends melee attacks by 2 feet, and also that you can hold/manipulate items that are 10 feet away. And since you're the creator, I think it's probably best to use your ruling.

The Cubeling racial feature Elastic Reach extends the range of melee attacks by 5 feet, so all attacks now have Reach, and Reach weapons have Reach+. But I was wondering if it worked with melee spell attacks too? So like Whip Strike in C&K, which is a melee attack spell that has a range of 10 feet. Would that still be 10 if cast by a Cubeling, or would it be 15 feet?
Also, I wish there was more art of the Cubelings.
