Oh man sorry for the accidental depression. Might i suggest uploading your game as a browser game? I think it would help a lot for people to have access to your game. I feel people are relunctant to  downloading something from strangers here. I saw your page and it looked like your game has a cool concept on city building as well. Good job on making something cool!

Good excuse :p I guess we need to balance objective metric with overthinking i guess

Yup, after a few days, it has died down after the initial burst of the start. I could see it as a reflection of how games usually are hyped at launch but slows down after a while. I'm thinking I need to keep in mind that 0 view days does not reflect how i am as a dev to avoid spiraling and just improve on it :)

It is indeed validating for a moment haha Thank you! Good job to you too!

Thanks for giving it a try!

Thank you for giving it a try! :)

Yup I agree haha. I'm still thinking about system how to limit on what the dog can and cannot eat yet. Raw ingredients is a start.  Thanks for giving it a try and appreciate the constructive criticism! :)

Thanks for playing! :)

Yeah i just remembered after uploading it lol. Should have been strawberry jams Thanks for playing!

I had fun with the water spray lol. Fun mechanic. Keep making games man! +1 to your analytics as well :)

Thanks for the recommendation i'll check it out! I feel you on people seeing your work mindset, its like a feedback for a work you've done. Thank you for the +1 too! I also got to play your game! I like the water spray cleaning part and slime enemies Well done!

Maybe its the noob  gamedev in me, but I keep refreshing the page just to see it blip 1 play count every few hours XD

Thanks! I learned a lot from the experience. And if ever worse comes to worse, not submitting is not the end of the world. Making it at your own pace is completely okay too

This reminds me of the old jumping game i used to play on the phone with pencil graphics i forgot the name. Good job!

Cool game! I like how you need to move through trees finding the fires before they burn the forest down

Thanks for giving it a try! Your comment gave me a relief that my game was at least playable by other people lol

But have you seen the "dog" yet?

Hahaha that's funny

Hahaha

I thought like that at first too, but i was reminded by what Thor said , your first few games are gonna suck. But its YOUR games. You made something and be proud of that :)

I think itch.io takes time to index the game to be searchable/browsable.I was relieved seeing I got a 1st comment on mine the next day. Just takes a while probably to update

Same haha I think itch.io takes time to index the game to be searchable/browsable

Thanks! I'm now gonna put a profile pic. I just thought about it after seeing yours :p

That's persistence,man. good job!

Me! It took more time than i expected but it was fun! The deadline of  submitting an unpolished game helps with dealing with my perfectionist side. and the schedule made me try game dev on a daily basis

Yeah, i was not able to fully finish mine too. At the very least I tried to finish 1 gameplay loop rather than nothing. I just tell myself, don't worry, uploading something is an achievement on its own.  :)
