Hey! Thanks for trying the demo and for the report — sorry about that crash right at startup.
I've found the issue: the game needs some prerequisite files (Visual C++ redistributables) that don't get installed automatically when downloading directly from a zip/archive. I'm working on a proper installer that will handle this automatically, so this won't happen again.
In the meantime, a quick fix that should work: go into the game folder, find Engine/Extras/Redist/en-us/UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe, and run it manually before launching the game. That should install what's missing.
I'll have an updated build with a fixed installer up soon. Really appreciate you taking the time to report this — it genuinely helps.
