I liked it a lot and really cute sfx as well :D

Hi your spritesheet inspired me to try out bunch of grid based mechanics and eventually i made this for the jamsepticeye 2025 :)

great concept! For under 6 hours no bugs good controls, it is very impressive. Just a simple sound addition to the jump/explode would have made it pop more. Great work!

Thank you for the nice comment! I think I would like to keep working on this game had bunch more ideas but time and my experience being limiting factors focused on shipping something playable/beatable for now :)

of course and I hope so too :D thx for playing!

Very well made game! All I can think of as an addition is a undo button, honestly well done game.

Thank you so much! I am currently working away from home in a factory basically only have sundays to do anything. Other days are just work eat sleep.

thank you so much for playing!

Yeah it was my whole sunday :D

it was a really stressful Sunday:D but i am glad i pushed through and I am happy you played it :)

Amazing game at the end I was wishing for more haha! One extra upgrade I would like is maybe a bigger mouse zone that the bees are collected even faster :D

Wow thank you so much for trying it out! Yeah I am inexperienced in designing a balanced loop. Obvious from those lock icons in the shop I cut out most stuff, and in the end tried to balance it by having more bloom and upping the hp tick. But the time off sets are far from satisfying and I should make a better formula for them.

Again thank you so much for giving it a try and for your comment.

amazing idea amazing execution just whoa

Haha yeah in the future can implement reducing the reds as an upgrade! Thank you so much for trying it out :)

thank you for your kind words

Thank you for giving it a shot!

Yeah I realised it but with my coding speed I knew I couldnt fix it in time :D definitely needs more nuanced spawning for pick ups. The UFO was supposed to be a shop as well but oh well just refills for now :D

Thank you so much for your message!

You clearly have good taste in the scene transition UI/UX stuff the tweens and SFXs felt very well done!
Liked all the mini games I have seen I might be missing some but maybe will check them out later :D

all hail the best donut :D

good idea with the speeding up. Definitely would tie it with music and visuals will get on it after the jam

vibes achieved beautifully the lanterns changing rooms is a good idea I think this is one of those jam entries where you found something you should work more on and flesh it out! You nailed the art direction :)

cool concept, there is something promising here with some planet crafter vibes and some tera nil maybe? Good idea

first of all super fantastic fire VFX you got there in the beginning :D Would be nicer if I could just jump into action by skipping the amazing rats mice talking to each other :D liked the flying kick :)

Yeah I really need to manage my time better and tell players what is what. I wrote instructions on the game page after the upload but for sure they should be in the game. You are right about the juice the donut and the camera needs to react more. Thank you for trying tho!

I liked the game upgrades are meaningful well executed very polished maybe better movement is the only thing to add but that also adds to the challenge and the charm so maybe it was an intentional choice :D or maybe I just suck haha, another person wrote following the cursor that is actually an interesting idea for this maybe. But again well done!

I liked it :) but I couldn't figure out the level where you have red green then blue :D I think I am still tired from yesterday

😆 glad you enjoyed it hope you try to get the achievements. I have an explanation on the game’s page

thank you! Should have spend less time on that bomb effect and more on adding bit more variety and a better sense of progress :D but I just couldn’t stop myself from tinkering with the small things

haha how did you even come up with this idea :D so very well done! (just like the fish I caught)

very cool concept, the way the icons pool and collect is satisfying :)

Hi watched the video and yeah honestly I agree with all your points. It was my first finished project and first game jam so naturally I wasted too much time on FX, glad you liked the bomb effect :D I had to cut short on bunch of ideas so that I could actually upload a finished thing before the deadline. The text is indeed for the challenge I had no idea how hard it was to communicate through icons :D MMB being pause is also so that I could say I did the "only mouse" challenge. So glad you gave it a fair shot, I will be checking out your other videos too I enjoyed watching this one :)

(1 edit)

I think I could have gone for longer but I was getting a little curious to see how this tyrant would die :D

i liked it it was fun to play :)

I started going mad early, embraced the insanity and ruled for decades. It really reflects reality :D

Such a professional setup and a well executed idea. I really liked the insanity mechanic and it caught me by surprise. I thought "oh they made a spelling error" ... "wait am I having a stroke?" haha

Thanks so much for your kind words. And yeah as I was playing it over and over again in the last hour or so, I really wanted to add lots more and I think I will once the jam ends. It really allowed me to build a simple but expandable core. My biggest sadness is I couldn’t come up with something creative :D

very cute

very well done :)
