The original intent was to make the hero far more formidable and "invincible" at first before the exponential growth in strength for the player.

Yeah, as listed out in our devlog, so much stuff went awry mid-jam. But we will keep working on it and our usual sound designer is making a return after her break! We'll make a devlog post after ratings are done, sorta explaining our next steps and direction.

I Really enjoyed this one! You guys really put out something impressive here.

I would say some of the minigames such as the chest one could do with a little more risk-reward. However the core loop is solid and I enjoyed what I played. Saw it through to completion too.

We're definitely gonna keep plugging away at this game behind the scenes since we do think there's some strong potential here, just in dire need of polish and refinement of the core gameplay loop.

The damage/retaliation was on our list of things to do! Simply ran out of time unfortunately. We actually had all the assets ready for it including sound, art pieces and even code (Just needed to be plugged in and bug tested).

Fun fact: The water texture actually isn't a texture - It's 100% shader!
