I saw some screenshots from this on the discord, and it had me excited. And it was well worth playing, Cthulu remains alive, but at least I gave him a few bombs to remember me by.
I really LOVE the visuals in the game, the scary cthulian creatures that haunt the water, and the general gameplay. A short lovely game <3
After killing 1012 krills, I can say that this is pretty peak. I really see the potential in this game to be a cool mobile game, in my opinion, so I have a few suggestion:
- It would be cool if the sharks could eat the fish that are eating the krills for you.
- Because of this, there should be some sort of a warning when they come to onto the screen.
- For every eaten krill, the sharks should get faster and more deadly.
- When a fish gets too big it could split into multiple other fish. This way, you could recover some fish after a shark attack
Anyways, I loved this <3
I'd say this has a solid chance to win, and to become popular. I liked it, but these types of games are just too tedious for me. The precise positioning I need to do with the inconsistent mouse controls I need to do is too much for me.
But I'd bet my kidney that many people will have A LOT of fun with this one. <3
PS: Share this with some of your fav youtubers, I think they would love it.
An alright small experience. But I just have to say that at the beginning I got a little confused, as I thought the game was bugged for me, then I noticed the small text in the bottom right of the screen. I think the "notification" should have been in the middle of the screen, so I would know to finish that first before it lets me play.
Otherwise, the music and SFX were great!
Yeah, the start is slow, but if you keep it consistent you'll attract some fish and they'll give you some money, which makes the game go faster for each dollar. I played your game as well, and I honestly enjoyed how simple it was, from the visuals to the idea. There is beauty in simplicity. Thanks for trying my game <3
