hi!! im not the game creator, but im assuming it was a fight and running away! i obviously dont know for sure, but i believe the partner is toxic. SPOILERS?>  depending on the ending they get aggressive, or it is said "soon theyll come get you and youll forgive them and everything will be fine", which implies that this is a cycle, which is very common for abusers !! i could b wrong, but hope this helps!! :3
