What Amara went through is very central to what I went through as a pansexual-queer SEA person. And I feel like things like black magic entanglement (we call it santet) is very commonly practiced in Indonesia, it even made it to the news sometimes.

I finally finished it! It was a lot of brain gymnastic (in the best way possible) and I started to play it properly when I picked up my book and wrote clues.
