That's useful to know, I'm thinking I might use Old School Essentials, Cairn or something like that.
The con isn't until November, I'll post back here with an update.

This is a lovely adventure, I'll be running it at a con soon. It's spot on thematically and the art, layout and map are top notch.
I wanted to ask, although the adventure is system neutral you must have play tested it with one or more systems. Could you reveal those systems, or is keeping them hidden part of the secret sauce of a system neutral adventure? Just that it might help me decide which system to run it with.
Loving this game so far. I do however have a question about bonus damage.
Some features like Brawler and Warrior start with a d4 bonus dice which can be raised with advancement.
Section 5 (p19) says: Bonus Weapon Damage Dice: Rolled together with weapon Damage dice.
Then the Swashbuckler feature says: While attacking, you can hit a second target, rolling your weapon Damage dice without any bonus dice.
I assumed it was just PCs with certain features roll a bonus die, but then the Swashbuckler feature doesn't say they have a bonus die, only that they don't have one hitting a second target.
Is this just an omission of bonus die for the Swashbuckler as default, or is there more to bonus dice?
Thanks.
I'm thinking of running this DCC adventure with ItDR at a con later in the year. I'll have a 3.5 hour slot to run it in, and I wanted to ask whether you ran it with Novice characters, and how many PCs you had in the party? Have you completed the adventure in 3.5 hours or less (reading through the adventure I'm pretty sure it can be done)?
Really liking what I see with ItDR, keep up the great work!
I'm really impressed with clarity of presentation and enhancements to old school rules. One thing I'm not sure about is how the primary and secondary attribute bonuses affect play at higher levels. +1 to a primary seems reasonable at level one, but when you get to level 10 that +10 means you'll nearly always succeed on actions with your primary attributes. How has this worked in play testing?
